Privacy policy
In force from 2 November 2026.
Controller
The data controller is the author of the FlexoPrep and FlexoSplit plug-ins: Mykola Hordiienko, Inżynierska 36/30, 05-850 Ożarów Mazowiecki, Poland. Contact: the form on the website.
This website
The website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising. Images and the video are served from the same server as the pages. Its only form is the contact form described below; only when someone starts filling it in does the page load the check against robots from Cloudflare.
Server
The website is served by Cloudflare Pages of Cloudflare, Inc. On every visit Cloudflare processes technical data: IP address, time, the page visited and the browser type, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse, also outside the European Economic Area. More in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the website and keeping it secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
Your name, email address, company, subject, message and the address of the page it was sent from pass through the author’s server, which does not keep them, to Google Forms, and a notice of them goes to the author’s Gmail mailbox. Google Forms and Gmail belong to Google, which processes the data under its privacy policy, also outside the European Economic Area. The data is used to reply and to sell licences, and is not passed to anyone for marketing.
When someone starts filling in the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is sending it, using technical data of the browser and the IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting the form from robots (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Messages are kept while the contact lasts, and sales records for as long as tax law requires. Legal basis: steps before entering into a contract and its performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and for other questions a legitimate interest in replying (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The plug-ins and the licence server
FlexoPrep and FlexoSplit run on your computer and do not send the files you work on. They connect only to the author's licence server: when a trial starts, when a key is activated and from time to time to confirm the licence (a trial every 3 days, a licence every day). They send the program's name and the computer's mark, and on activation the licence key. The mark is a SHA-256 hash of the hardware's number: the number cannot be read from it.
The server keeps the computer's mark with the trial's dates, and for a licence also the key, the modules bought and the licensee's name from the order. It runs on Google Cloud in Warsaw (Cloud Run and a Firestore database). The server uses the IP address only at the moment, against abuse, and does not keep it; Google records technical request data in its logs.
Legal basis: performing the licence agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and a legitimate interest in protecting the licence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Licence data is kept while the licence is in use.
Downloads
The program installers are downloaded from GitHub, a service of GitHub, Inc., which receives the IP address of whoever downloads them and processes it under its privacy statement.
Payments
Licences are sold by Polar Software, Inc. as the merchant of record. Polar processes the buyer's and the payment data under its privacy policy. The author receives the order from Polar: name or company, email, country and the programs bought.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. Just write through the contact form. You may also complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl), or to the authority in your own country.
Changes
